Deputy President Rigathi Gachagwa has sparked mixed reaction after revisiting a narrative they were told about Raila.
Speaking in a church, Gachagwa told the congregation how he was received like a king in Kisumu with President Ruto. He went on to commend the people of Nyanza region for embracing unity especially after new appointments.
Gachagwa continued by reviving 2022 campaign slogans where President Uhuru Kenyatta bagged them but they failed to listen.

He claimed that Uhuru came to then with a proposal they support Raila Odinga but they rejected his plea. They went ahead to follow President William Ruto who had told them Raila evil. But now, they are working together as a team.
He defended Uhuru by claiming that they attacked him without looking keenly on what he was saying. They focused on calling Odinga evil hence loosing their son.
“Uhuru told us Raila was good we vote for him. We all ignored since we were told he was bad. Now, President is working with him and now he is good. We will have to watch everything keenly going forward ” said Gachagwa.
The second in command vowed to unite Mount Kenya region and asked those planning to divide it to watch him.
