Currently, former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar is serving as UDA SG after a dramatic ouster of Malalah. A meeting which was allegedly called at around 5am led to the removal of Malalah from office unceremoniously leaving him sad.
Well, the court few days ago gave him a reprieve after blocking his removal until the case is heard and determined on October 16, 2024. He is waiting to see if he will remain as the defacto party SG or will be shown the door officially. Let’s wait and see how things will play out soon.
