Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale is a man under siege. Despite being elected to the Senate on the United Democratic party ticket and given a powerful position at the Senate by the ruling party, as the majority whip.
Khalwale has been on record castigating the Kenya Kwanza administration for joining hands with opposition leaders to form a broad based government.
Well, Kenyans have been told how he was punished for attacking the President and not supporting the broad based administration.

According to Nandi County Senator Samson Cheralgei, Senator Boni Khalwale was removed from united democratic Party official Whatsapp groups for allegedly not following government directives and publicly criticizing the policies made by the Kenya Kwanza team.
Cheralgei went ahead to confirm that, even Khalwale was blocked from attending any UDA party National executive committee meetings. With this revelation, it is clear all is not well within the ruling party and we might witness more decamping soon.
