Just like it has been for years, many Kenyans travelled during the December Holiday in a bid to meet celebrate with their families. The bad thing with that move is that many accidents have been reported during the festive season and now, things are still worse as many people scramble to go back to their work places as parents think about back to school.
Today, thing were not any better as Kenyans were left in a sombre mood after waking up to a fatal road accident. According to reports, nine people were left dead in a road accident along the Eldoret-Kitale road.
It is said that the accident involved a matatu shuttle and a truck. Good thing is that three children escape death but they were injured. The information was confirmed by Uasin Gishu County Police commander Benjamin Mwanthi.
During this time, Kenyans are advised to be careful while driving. They are also advised not to drink and drive as that will be endangering not only their lives but also the lives of other Kenyans.
