Speaking in Mbeere North while on a campaign trail. Ruku dismissed the claims that Gachagua visited his grandmother. He claimed that he doesn’t have a grandmother. His grandparents passed away a long time ago including his parents.
Ruku’s statement has elicited mixed reactions online with Kenyans now demanding to know the real person that the former Deputy President visited in Mbeere North.
Some are alleging that Ruku is just dismissing the visitation because of political calculations. This is because he did not expect Gachagua to tour his own family and flash the one term sign. He is simply protecting his job which he was given by the President after Gachagua was fired.
