CS Davis Chirchir Exposed For Lying On Adani Deal, Revealed Latter Leaves Him With An Egg On Face

Cabinet Secretary for Roads And Transport is a man under siege. While appearing at the Senate committee, he faced it rough from senators questions which were targeted on Adani company.

During the meeting, Chirchir claimed Adani were the only people who sent proposal for Jomo Kenyatta International Airport lease. He claimed he is not aware of any other company doing so hence why the Adani group was preferred and recommend.

Well, it seems like he lied to the senators. According to Kisii senator Onyonka, a latter has emerged of American based company requesting for the lease.

Taking to his social media platform X, Onyonka shared a latter of America based company which was interested in JKIA. They were not only interested in JKIA but also Kisumu, Eldoret and Mombasa airports. This is contrary to the message that Chirchir was sending to the legislators.

“Corporation America Airports (CAAP) sent a PIIP request in July 2024 with an interest in JKIA ,Mombasa, Kisumu & Eldoret Airports.Appearing before the Senate CS Davis Chirchir denied having knowledge to this, & said it is only Adani who sent such a proposal.” Posted Onyonka.

Kenyans Reactions.

Kenyans have asked the government officials to stop lying and be truthful while handling matters of public interest. They have vowed to be keen on all issues so that government properties are not sold in secret.

“Our leaders are now our enemies. They are cutting deals every day and hiding them. Why didn’t they make public the Adani deal until it was exposed? Who is benefitting from all this. What did Adani do to the government that they must be given airport” Posted Robert.
