The Unity of the opposition team is under test. The team which is being led by; former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i and Wiper Party leader Honorable Kalonzo Musyoka are facing a possible split after the latest accusations.
Well, for months now, the United opposition team has been moving from one region to another campaigning as a team. A few weeks ago, they were hosted at Wamunyoro by Gachagua. During the visit, they made a declaration of working together come 2027 general election. It seems like that is not the case anymore.

According to Gachagua’s lawyer, Ndegwa Njiru, Honorable Fred Matiang’i is a mole working for President William Ruto. He claimed that, Matiang’i is just waiting for the right time to jump ship and join Kenya Kwanza.
Ndegwa’s remarks have elicited mixed reactions online leaving the opposition team divided. Those Allied to Matiang’i are now pointing fingers at Gachagua’s team claiming they are aimed at fighting their person.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has not taken the position himself on the matter. He is expected in the country soon and people will be demandingly make the position clear on what he feels about Matiang’i.
