Suba member of Parliament, Honorable Mille Odhiambo has elicited mixed reactions within the broad based government after her remarks today.
Mille, known for her boldness and combative style of politics has told Kenyans what Raila Odinga might do in the 2027 general election. Her remarks came in just days after Edwin Sifuna made it public with his feelings towards President William Ruto and his leadership style.
Speaking at a function on August 2, 2025. A Suba member of Parliament claimed that, it is not automatic that the Orange democratic Party will support Ruto in the 2027 general election.

According to her, they are sticking with broad based administration until the 2027 general election and after that, they will make their informed decision. They might even ask Ruto to support Raila.
Millie continued by claiming that, Raila is still powerful and energetic to run for the top seat again. These remarks have elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans and those allied to President William Ruto. They are asking the ODM party to make a decision on what will happen immediately so that they can make a plan for the 2027 general election.
” It’s not automatic that we will support Ruto in 2027. We can ask the President to support Raila in 2027″ said Millie Odhiambo.
