For the last few weeks, Chief Justice Martha Koome has been dominating headlines in the country. That is after former Law Society President Nelson Havi putting pressure on her to resign or be kicked out of office.
While that is the case, it appears like CJ Koome is ready to fight to the last moment because today, she was back in action.
As reported by KBC Channel 1 through their official X account, CJ Martha Koome will be presiding over the swearing in ceremony of newly appointed vice chairperson and seven members of the Public Service Commission board. It is said that the ceremony will take place at KICC.
That comes days after CJ Koome made it clear that she will not be resigning but still, Havi maintained that he will fight on and come March this year, he will ensure that the CJ goes home. For now, CJ Koome, shows that she is focused on her work.
