For the last few days, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has been dominating headlines in the country. That is after his tough remarks to the Gen Z as he warned them against using social media to insult leaders.
Kipchumba Murkomen’s remarks caused plenty of reactions among different Kenyans and today, things were the same as the Interior boss was advised against threatening the youths.
Through his official X account, MP Amos Mwago broke his silence as he said that threatening youths that they will face jail term for expressing their views isn’t a solution while installing fear to them won’t work. According to the law maker, instead of threatening the youths, it is better to ask the government to engage them in a better way and everything will be okay.
The legislator maintained that the youths want want a better Kenya not only for them but also for the generation to come.
