Breaking: Ruto Adds More Uhuru Allies To His Gov’t After Kagwe And Kinyanjui, Here Is New List

Yesterday on December 19, 2024. President William Ruto appointed new faces to his cabinet. Interestingly, those appointed were close allies of former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Mutahi Kahiga and Lee Kinyanjui were both in the Jubilee Party, a party that supported Raila Odinga and was against William Ruto’s presidency.

Well, today, President William Ruto has added more Uhuru allies to his administration leaving Kenyans talking.

Former Gatanga member of Parliament and a close ally of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Peter Kenneth has landed a top job. He has been appointed as Kenya Bureau Of Standards(KEBS) chairperson.

Another close ally of Uhuru is Mwangi Wa-Iria. He was in the Azimio LA umoja team and has landed a board chair position. He will now head Public Procurement Regulatory Agency.

The appointment of the two leaders allied to Uhuru has left Kenyans talking. Youths have now asked the President to continue appointing those he termed dynasty, so that come 2027, they will vote wisely.

In the 2022 general election, president William Ruto promised to fight for hustlers who are not part of the government in appointments. They have been waiting for their day but it seems like that day will not come any time soon.

Political analysts are claiming the new appointments are targeting the 2027 general election. Where he is fighting to dislodge Gachagua who is currently causing Jitters within Mount Kenya region. Well, let’s see how things will play out soon.
