President William Ruto has finally listened to Kenyan crys and finally has stopped the Adani takeover. This is coming just days after a section of Kenyans put up a spirited fight over the same. According to Ruto he has taken that action after wide consultation.
This is coming just hours after Adani group owner together with his executive officers were indicted in new York City over bribe allegations.
The Adani group were awarded over 90 Billon deals by the ministry of Energy. They were supposed to contract new lines and run them for over 30 years. They were also targeting to run Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for 30 years and retain a stake of about 18 percent for life.
