Amidst the discussion of what really happened that led to the killing of several youths last year during protests. Kenyans have received rather worrying news. According to the reports, a member of Parliament allied to the Orange democratic Party has been allegedly killed in Nairobi by unknown people.
More details of what really happened has not been shared by the security team but according to the Citizen TV station, the legislator was gunned down at a Nairobi mortuary roundabout. It is claimed that the gun men who were on a motorbike trailed him before disembarking from it and shooting him at a close range.
The personal driver has survived the killing leaving Kenyans with mixed reactions. The director of the criminal investigation is already on the ground with an aim of to try and investigate what really happened.
This is a big blow to Orange democratic Party leader Raila odinga. Odinga just lost his personal bodyguard a few days ago and him losing an ODM party affiliated member of Parliament means he will have to go back and recapture the seat again.
