Just months after a doctor in Kiambu County hospital died by suicide. Another intern has taken his life.
Dr. Moraa passed on by suicide after she was found at her rented house by those working with her. Her death was linked to poor pay and metal health.
According to a report by The Standard, Dr. Francis Njuki a pharmacist intern at Thika level IV Hospital has died by suicide.
“Francis Njuki, intern at Thika Level 5 Hospital, dies by suicide, KMPDU confirms; this follows Dr. Desree Moraa’s death two months ago amid rising mental health concerns among medics.” Report.
