Butere Girls National School students can now breathe after the latest court ruling on their play Echoes Of War which was previously banned and unceremoniously removed from the Kenya National Drama festival program.
The play Echoes of War which is scripted by renowned drama guru and respected leader Sen. Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah was banned by Ministry officials who viewed the piece as an incitement to the youths.
Something that Malalah denied insisting that the Play is all about a reflection of the gap between youths and old age groups who are not coming to terms with the new trend of leadership styles. Read Full Article Here.
