Tranzoia County governor His Excellency George Natembeya is not joking about establishing a lasting solution to Luhya unity. The first time governor has been calling on Western region people to unite and have a huge advantage on the negotiation table.
Last week, he was in Vihiga County where he was installed as the area spokesperson. He was blessed and asked to go and negotiate for the community.
That was seen as a clear indication to Musalia to pave the way for a possibly new kingpin. Well, it seems like he is not resting and his mission must be achieved. According to the latest information reaching us, Natembeya has organized a meeting with Wanga kingdom leaders in Matungu, Kakamega County.

He is expected to hold a meeting with King Peter Nabongo who is currently residing at Shiembekho, Matungu in Kakamega County.
Political analysts are interpreting this as a political scheme that is aimed at endorsing him for the top spokesperson position. With the king’s blessings, Natembeya is expected to tour the region intensively.
When Will Natembeya Visit Nabongo Mumias Shrine.
He is expected to visit the shrine on October 4, 2025. Many people have been informed to gather at Matungu and receive him. He will address a roadside rally at Mumias market and mayoni market on Busia – Kakamega highway.
