Currently around the continent, the attention of many people especially the African Presidents has been on the forthcoming election which will see the continent elect Moussa Faki’s successor. Kenya’s Raila Odinga and Djibouti’s Mahmoud Ali have been seen as the two horses for the top seat.
Although the ground has been majorly for Raila and Mahmoud, the current AUC chairperson Moussa Faki has today emerged from the woods as he sent a strong message to US President Donald Trump.
According to reports, Moussa Faki has now urged US President Donald Trump to reconsider his decision to exit WHO. Moussa Faki believes that the move of the US to exit WHO may end up impacting African health programs and the Africa CDC.
Donald Trump made that move just after taking power as the 47th President of the US. It is just one of the things that Donald Trump addressed in his first moves back in office.
