A few days ago, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called it a day in the United Democratic party. He left the party months after dramatic ouster from the position he held as the second in command.
In his latter, Gachagua termed UDA as a party that cannot manage to solve Kenyans issues despite making so many promises in the 2022 general election. He mentioned the poor health sector, deteriorating the economy among others as some of the reasons to depart from the ruling Party.
Well, another high profile leader has resigned too leaving Kenyans talking online. According to former Cabinet secretary Mithika Linturi, the United Democratic party does not stand for the philosophy that it had in 2022. It is therefore the reason he is leaving immediately.
He has continued by claiming that the party does not respect the rule of law, does not care about mothers and Children and that it has facilitated abdication and killings of the youths who were only fighting to have their grievances addressed.
