The Adani deal has elicited mixed reaction around the country. Kenyans are demanding the transparency in the leasing of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The Adani group which is linked to the lease has been controversial on how it was initiated by officials in the government.
The discussion on the deal at the Senate was so intense that a section of legislators were angry with energy cabinet Secretary.

The Adani case is still in court where they are defending themselves on how they got the lease deal. Account to their lawyer, Adani claimed they learnt about the case in the media. The leaking roof and other things caught their eyes hence making them come in to help.
