Deputy President Rigathi Gachagwa and William Ruto came to power in a vibrant way after defeating Odinga. Raila Odinga was being supported by the sitting President then, Uhuru Kenyatta.
They had to put in more effort to defeat State machinery that was determined to see Odinga win. Well, it seems like the hay days between Gachagwa and William Ruto are coming to and end maybe soon.
The duo have been reading from different scripts in various functions. Rigathi has been showing his intentions of focusing on Mount Kenya region. He even admitted at one point how his love for mount Kenya people is affecting others.
Ruto on the other hand, is focusing on bringing on board all Kenyans. He recently added opposition leaders to his cabinet as an indication of unity search.

Speaking in Kisumu during Nyanza tour, Ruto revealed why he joined hands with Odinga. Something that is not sitting well with Mount Kenya leaders allied to Gachagwa like Nyeri governor Kahiga.
Well, Gachagwa has been warned and told how his isolation from main agenda might throw him off table. Blogger Mutai Ngunyi has told him he risks being isolated by power players if he continues walking alone.
