Speaking during senate seating on Wednesday, July 3. The Senate rulling party majority whip, Boni Khalwale has shocked Kenyans by asking Ruto to fire Musalia Mudavadi.
According to the video shared online from the Senate of Kenya. Khalwale claimed that the position of Chief cabinet Secretary is not inscribed in the constitution hence warranting its scrapping.
He continued by asking the president to restructure his administration and fire Inspector of police for not being able to contain protests and lose of lives.
” Mr. Speaker, the president need to scrap the officer of cabinet Prime secretary because it is unconstitutional” said Khalwale.
Khalwale continued by saying that Mps are syphoning CDF funds and buying high-end cars instead of helping Kenyans who are angry and hungry.
This is the first sitting of the Senate after deadly anti-government protests that lead to storming of Parliament by angry youths after finance bill was passed.
