A first time member of Parliament who rose to the second most powerful position in the republic of Kenya. Others call it luck, but let me call it tactical calculation.
He defeated seasonal politicians like professor Kindiki in becoming the second in command. This man Rigathi Gachagwa.
During inauguration. He let made people know how he had suffered by making it public, he was not happy how Uhuru’s administration handled him. Gachagwa made it clear to Kenyans everything that happened before their election won’t happen again.
Well, things are not turning out so well for Rigathi Gachagwa as expected. Leaders have turned against him including his own area member of Parliament.
Mathira member of Parliament Eric Wambui while speaking in Murang’a county has lashes out at gachagwa. He has accused him of bullying leaders to do as he wishes instead of allowing them to deliver.
On unity calls. Wambui claimed Mount Kenya region is united and people should not move around claiming to unite them. He concluded by asking Gachagwa to respect others leaders from the area.
Other leaders present also said the region is behind President William Ruto who was elected by the people. Ann Waiguru said it was too early to talk about succession politics when 2027 is so far.
