On Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The Senate of Kenya will start listening to the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Today, he filled huge volume of documents in his defence from allegations by Mutuse.
He is claiming that all the allegations are purely political and those not happy with his position are demanding he leaves. Well, as his possible removal continues. President William Ruto has been told the headache that is coming when Gachagua is out of the equation.

The headache that Ruto will have is who to pick as his deputy once Gachagua is gone. Different quarters are keeping up a spirited fight on that seat. Kirinyaga residents are calling on Ruto to pick Ann Waiguru as Murang’a settle with Irungu Kangata.
Tharaka Nithi are settling with professor Kindiki who received a huge support from religious leaders. It is going to be messy for him an anyway the outcome from senate will come up.
