For the better part of the day, Kenyans have been fuming at President William Ruto and his communication team. This was after what a section of Kenyans have called an embarrassing moment at the State House. What was supposed to be a reflective moment and a linkage to the Kenyan online group turned out to be out of order.
Well, the state House Kenya has been forced to delete a video that had caused a backlash among Kenyans. A video of president William Ruto was posted on the official state TikTok account with an unpleasant background song. The background song insinuated that despite trying to help people, some were ungrateful and were not keen on noticing the efforts of helping them.
Kenyans Reactions.
“Whoever posted that video with a background song must be fired. The president is trying to unite Kenyans and gain trust after widely featured protests and now someone is busy destroying that.” Posted Angela.
“Is the President telling us we are on our Own? How can that feature a State House account? Who is running those accounts. Everyone must be accountable for their actions. He or she must go home unless President William Ruto authorized it.” Posted Robert.
The Video Deleted.
Well across the check on the state House TikTok account. The video has been deleted but no explanation has been offered over what happened. Kenyans are now demanding clarification on what was the intention of the video and who it was directed at.
