Losing a job is something that no one wishes to experience. From having chase cars, bodyguards, personal assistants to just being a normal citizen. This is the tale of cabinet Secretary sacked by President William Ruto a few months ago. The president dissolved his cabinet after youth protests which were marked by parliament invasion.
Speaking in Bungoma county during funeral possession of mother to Ken Lusaka. The former Health Cabinet Secretary pleaded with the church to pray for her for a new job. She lamented that, it was tough for her since dramatic sacking by Ruto.

“I’m asking for prayers from the church. It has not been easy since I lost my job. You know how tough it can be from being a Health Cabinet Secretary to a nobody. My name is special and once mentioned, everyone associates me with the health docket. Kindly pray for me my good people.” Said Nakhumicha.
Nakhumicha is one of those sacked but never reinstated by President Ruto. Her counterparts like Kipchumba Murkomen, Kindiki and Duale made it back to the cabinet again. However, Duale and Murkomen were reshuffled by the president from the dockets they were before. It is not yet clear if he will be reappointed Incase Kindiki moves to the Deputy President position.
