No Rest For Martha Koome As Ahmednasir Strikes Again With  A Message To LSK

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir is not letting Chief Justice Martha Koome rest at all. His mission seems to be clearing rogue Judges from the judiciary System. He is determined to highlight to Kenyans how justice is bought by few individuals at the expense of those who deserve it.

The supreme Court has celebrated significant milestones since its establishment twelve years ago. The senior Counsel has nothing to celebrate about and has asked the Law society of Kenya to act and save Kenyans over what Martha Koome and his college did in October.

Through his X platform, senior Counsel Ahmednasir has asked the law society of Kenya to act and protect citizens from the latest ruling made by the supreme court of Kenya. Ahmednasir has claimed that if the judgement stands, it is going to infringe the fundamental rights of Kenya.

The case in contention is the Finance Bill 2023. In this case,  the  petitioner had submitted that public participation was not conducted well and hence was supposed to be ruled as unconstitutional. The court of appeal had ruled that the public participation was not conducted adequately. However, the decision was overturned and the government ended up having its way.

“I think President @FaithOdhiambo8 and her council of @LawSocietyofKe MUST URGENTLY address the unacceptable and treasonous judgment of the Supreme Court of Kenya of 29th October 2024 in the 2023 finance bill case that held  Article 10 of the constitution is INOPERATIVE and NON-JUSTICIABLE and that Article 10 doesn’t give a Kenyan citizen a cause of action against the government and its institutions.” Wrote Senior Counsel Ahmednasir.

” In a week when the court openly  and extravagantly celebrates its JurisPESA record and peddles the false narrative that it is THE protector of the constitution, we must call it out, highlight the reactionary and subversive judgment of the Court that totally obliterate Article 10 of the constitution that throws Kenya back to the old age of an opaque, unaccountable and unresponsive goverment.” Added Ahmednasir.
