Not once not twice but severally, Wetangula’s family reminded mourners that they didn’t want politics at the burial ceremony of their mother but still, politician went out of way and engaged in heated politics. Worse enough, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula found himself in that mix as he reacted on George Natembeya’s remarks.
Although it is now days after that burial ceremony in Bungoma County, things are still boiling as today, Moses Wetangula got it rough as he was badly attacked by Wahome Thuku.
Through his official Facebook account, Wahome Thuku came out guns blazing as he told Wetangula that he was wrong to fire back at Natembeya during her mother’s funeral service. Thuku maintained that the NA Speaker, could not have allowed politics to carry him away while he was mourning his own mother.
According to Thuku, all the guests who had attended the burial were special to that event and thus, it was a shame for the son of the deceased to start tracking some of them.
