Masengeli Told What To Do Next After Withdrawing Judge Mugambi Security Detail For Jailing Him

Kenyans are currently not happy with the decision taken by acting inspector general of Police Gilbert Masengeli. Just few days after being sentenced to Prison for six month. Masengeli fought back heavily by withdrawing Police officers attached to judge Lawrence Mugambi of high court.

Giving his reason, Masengeli claimed the officers were recalled to undergo training courses. The timing of such decision has elicited mixed reaction with Kenyans claiming it is purely intimidation.

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir has advised acting inspector general of Police Gilbert Masengeli to move with speed and act.

According to the lawyer, he should withdraw all security detail of member of Parliament and cabinet Secretaries. This is because, in his latter to judiciary. He claimed only the president, his deputy and former Presidents are entitled to security.
