Former Kakamega County Senator Honorable Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah has spoken just after hosting one of the biggest tournaments in Africa. The Cleo Malalah Super Cup was successful and winners were awarded a huge sum of money and motivation and talent appreciation. The tournament winner was awarded 3 Million shillings ( Eshikufu FC From Mumias East.)
The tournament which was held at Kakamega Lions grounds experienced some inconveniences from the county team. It was supposed to be held at Mumias Complex Stadium, Mumias Town, but the current governor allegedly ganged up against Malalah with Mumias Sugar management to stop that. He alleged that the County renovated the stadium and booked it for the Annual Governor Cup.
Well, it seems like that was not the only problem the Malalah Super Cup experienced this year. According to Malalah, the appearance of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at his torment was not supposed to happen.

According to a video seen by this writer. Malalah has claimed that Gachagua’s presence at his tournament was not supposed to happen judging from the state conduct. He alleged that officials from high office in the land called him demanding that he cancel the invitation of former Deputy President. However, he ignored all the warnings to him and continued with his plans.
” They called several times with some funny warnings. They Wanted me to cancel the invitation of my friend Gachagua. Something that I ignored. Even some leaders were warned not to come to my tournament but no problem with that. I want to tell William Ruto, he attended my tournament 4th edition. Gachagua has attended the sixth edition. Let him focus on other things as we make friends with those that matter to us.” Said Malalah in a video shared online.
It seems like Gachagua is gaining more friends than it was anticipated. He is currently the defacto Mount Kenya Kingpin. Something that is giving the current regime a headache. Well, let’s wait and see what happens next.
