The removal of Deputy President of the republic of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua is still eliciting mixed reactions among Kenyans. The court brought in more confusion after blocking the swearing in of Kithure Kindiki as the new Deputy President leaving the office to Gachagwa.
On the other hand, security attached to Rigathi has been scaled down at Karen Hospital and his employees sent on compulsory leave.
Well, Kenyans have ganged up against Olekina after claiming that Gachagua did not win against Ruto but the constitution did. Kenyans reminded him how he betrayed Kenyans through his support for Ruto, a person he has been opposing while in Opposition.
Since the formation of a broad based government, he has been vocal in supporting the President and his initiatives.
A few weeks ago, he was seen with President William Ruto in new York City during the UNGA summit. Kenyans are asking him to stop talking like an opposition senator and embrace the government of the day which he supports now.
