“JKIA Will Not Be The First Airport To Be Managed By Adani” Kenyans Told Amidst JKIA Saga

For days now, the JKIA-ADANI deal has been dominating headlines in the country. Many Kenyans have been coming out publicly to express their frustrations on the matter. They have been opposing the deal claiming that it is not good for the country. They have been criticising President William Ruto and his government for lack of public participation before engaging in such a deal but today, Kenyans have been told something they didn’t know about the Adani Group.

Through his official X account, Kinuthia Pius decided to defend the Adani Group as he told Kenyans that it will not be the first Airport the group will be taking over. According to Pius who supported Baba fully prior to the 2022 general election before shifting camp, the Adani Group is currently in charge of Mumbai International Airport, Ahamed Abad Airport, Lucknow Airport, Mangaluru Airport, Jaipur Airport, Guwahati Airport and Theruvanatha Puram Airport.

Kinuthia Pius maintained that there is no problem with the Adani Group managing JKIA. Instead, he feels that the Adani Group will improve the country’s leading Airport and make it better than it has ever been. For that reason, Pius urged Kenyans to support the deal, give Adani time and they will he impressed by the end of the day.

How Kenyans will react to such news is not yet known but as things seem to be, it will need more convincing than that to shift the minds of many Kenyans. All in all, it is now a matter of opposing and defending for now as Kenyans are divided on the issue. Many of them are opposing but there are several of them like Kinuthia Pius who are defending.
