Kenyan politics is dynamic. Any person who was in Kenya during 2022 general election campaign and left the country immediately. Will be shocked when he comes back and witness the total turnaround in the political arena. Those who were political enemies are now dinning together, infact, they are calling each other brothers.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was marked as evil person in Mount Kenya region. The focus of Kenya Kwanza Leaders was to make sure he does not make any inroads. Despite having support of Uhuru, Odinga was still unwanted figure in central region.
Well, things seems to be changing quickly. Speaking at a church service in Mount Kenya. Gachagwa claimed that he regrets attacking their son Uhuru for support Raila. He acknowledged that did a mistake and learnt from it quickly.
” we attacked our son Uhuru for no reason. We humiliated him in public for simply supporting Raila. His only Mistake was that. We shall never repeat that again ” Said Gachagwa.
Gachagua Enmity With Uhuru.
Despite serving as Former President Uhuru Kenyatta personal assistant for a very long time. Different political camps changed Gachagwa to the worst enemy of Uhuru.
He attacked him publicly especially during the swearing in of Ruto. The truthful man as he is called leaved nothing hidden in hatting Uhuru.
Forgiveness Call.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagwa pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta for forgiveness. He claimed to have been mislead by politicians for no reason. He asked for a meeting to discuss their truce with Uhuru. We are yet to know if his wish was granted. We will keep you posted if it happens.
