Kimani Ichungwah and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagwa are proving to have political supremacy battle in Mount Kenya. Deposit Gachagwa avoiding mentioning Ichungwah in his salvos. Ichungwah is coming out clear mentioning his name while making serous allegations.
In undated video that has been shared online. Kimani Ichungwah while addressing some residents fired back at Gachagwa. This was after Gachagwa lamented how Ichungwah went to Nyanza to air regional problems in public.
Gachagwa while attending a church service asked leaders from the region not to reveal the region problems in public. He asked them to find solutions within themselves.

Kimani Ichungwah on his side has accused Gachagwa of playing victim card after hatching a plan against Ruto. He told residents who were listening to him that Gachagwa sponsored protests so that he could topple Ruto.
From the video. Ichungwah is heard asking Kenyans to stand with Ruto for he is a man of his word. He praised him for retaining cabinet Secretaries numbers in Mount Kenya after dissolving it. Hence, Mount Kenya should support him to the last man.
” Ruto is a listening President. We as Mount Kenya region are blessed to have him. Recently, he reappointed our people in the cabinet in large numbers. Something we should be grateful instead of walking around with tribal cards.” Sadi Ichungwah.
