“The government eats its own people”. Those are sentiments that were first made here in the country by James Orengo. Since he said that, those words have been said over and over again as indeed, they were proved to be true.
Well, since William Ruto took over power as the 5th Head of State, some of the people who campaigned for him tirelessly have been suffering just to prove Orengo’s remarks and today, things were even more shocking.
As reported by the Nation through their official Telegram page, it seems like the government has now gone for Bomet County Governor Hillary Barchok as details revealed that the county boss was arrested. It is said that EACC confirmed arresting the Bomet county Governor who is set to record a statement at EACC South Rift Regional Offices in Nakuru county.
Considering the fact that Barchok is a close ally of President William Ruto, no one saw the possibility of him being arrested.
