Dramatic Scenes In Nairobi Streets As Coffins Are Thrown In Streets During Protest

Today, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Kenyans took to the streets again in different counties with a message “Ruto Must Go.”

President William Ruto is under pressure to address youths demands, which has been listed on different platforms. Some of the things he is being asked to act on is;

1. Rampant corruption cases in ministries and State departments.

2. Nepotism in public positions.

3. Blatant display of Opulence among state officials. Something that has angered the public.

4. Retraction of Finance Bill – which he obliged.

5. Scrapping off- office of the first and second Lady( he obliged while having interview with media houses)

6. Dropping off CAS position. Something that Kenyans feel is bloating the wage bill for no reason.

Well, it seems like Kenyans are not relenting until the above things are achieved.

They threw Coffins on various Streets leaving police officers shocked.

The law enforcers were forced to pick the coffins and load them in a lorry.

It is not yet clear where those caskets were picked and who supplied them to the protestors.
