The truthful man is no longer at ease. He is being hit from both sides of political factions. Inside Kenya Kwanza, Mount Kenya region leaders dumped him for Kindiki as new kingpin. Kenyans viewed the move by Mount Kenya leaders as a last nail on his political career.
Well, it seems like he is moving even an inch from his position as Deputy President of the republic of Kenya. He has reacted on the current political dynamics in the country with a strong message to leaders.
Speaking in Nyeri county flanked by area governor and some local member of Parliaments. Gachagwa called on leaders to focus on delivering services to the people instead of focusing on Politics.
He Said, election period is over and Kenyans elected those they preferred. They should therefore work and wait for 2027 if they want politics.
“I want to ask my fellow leaders to stop politics and focus on service delivery. We were elected to serve. Those who are focusing on Politics should wait for 2027. Right now it should be all about development. Schools should be constructed, roads and hospitals” Said Gachagwa.
Gachagwa also insisted he is not going anywhere. He was elected together with the president and therefore. He must fulfill the manifesto first. This is coming just a day after over 40 members of Parliament from central region dumped him for Kindiki.
