DP. Gachagwa Finally Open Up On People Trying To Kill Him

The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya Rigathi Gachagwa shocked many after the revelation of an assassination attempt on his life.

Speaking to vernacular radio stations from Mount Kenya. Gachagwa claimed that one of his close security detail was attacked while leaving his Kileleshwa home by an assassin who was on a motorbike.

He affirmed that the assassin fired a bullet targeting his head, but fortunately, the aid dodged, hence being hit on his shoulder.

” They tried to send me a message by targeting one of my close detail. They shot him on his head but he dodged the bullet which hit his shoulder.” Said Gachagwa in a video widely shared online.

This is coming just days after his impeachment process was discussed by a section of leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza administration who feel he is sabotaging the president instead of helping him deliver.

In his defense, Gachagwa said that, he is not afraid to go home if his mistake is to defend Mount Kenya region.
