Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was toppled from office by the Senate. This came after he was officially impeached by the National Assembly in a motion tabled Mwengi Mutuse.
Since that day of impeachment, he has been keeping a low profile while admitted at Karen Hospital, Nairobi.
He was admitted there after falling sick, complaining of chest pains. Well, today, he has spoken to Kenyans finally after a long silence.
Gachagua has wished all Kenyans a happy celebration today. This is his first message since he was removed from the office despite being Sick.
It is not yet clear if he is going to attend the state event in Kwale county. Kenyans are really waiting to see what will happen in case he appears during the celebration.
