Cleo Malalah Receives Bad News On His Attempt To Remain UDA SG After Ouster

Former Kakamega County senator Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah has received unwanted news from the registrar of political parties. Hon. Malalah was replaced as United Democratic Party Secretary general by Omar.

He was accused of siding with Gachagua in undermining the president among other accusations. He moved to court in attempt to save his position but it seems like all is done for him after latest development.

According to the latter dated 8th October, 2024. The registrar of political parties Ann Nderitu has given the greenlight to new UDA officials. She has allowed them to effect new changes that involved kicking Malalah out of office few weeks ago.

This is despite earlier court order which blocked his Ouster until the case filled by Malalah challenging his removal. It is expected to be heard and determined on October 16, 2024. Kenyans are waiting to see what will come out of the courts now that changes have been granted.
