For the last few weeks, Chief Justice Martha Koome has been dominating headlines in the country. That is after former LSK President Nelson Havi calling for her resignation, something that Koome responded to as she made it clear that she can not resign.
While that is the case, today things even went from bad to worse on Koome’s side as Kenyans were publicly told what the Supreme Court under CJ Koome has set for tomorrow.
According to Nelson Havi through his official X account, in the future (which he termed as ‘tomorrow’), if a judge doesn’t like you, then he can bar you from appearing before him. Havi claimed that it is the Supreme Court under Koome that has set that binding precedent.
The former Law Society of Kenya President went on to say that he doesn’t see how the Judicial Service Commission can excuse that move which Havi sees as a wrong move.
