President William Ruto, a man who is determined to change Kenya through various policies is facing setbacks. Since taking over the administration from President William Ruto, he has been facing numerous setbacks ranging from youths protests to Court battles fighting his moves.
Well, he will have to go back to the drawing board after the latest court ruling that has been issued by the high court.
According to a report from the court, justice Bahati Mwamuye has halted any further engagement between the government of Kenya and Adani group. The high court has suspended 95 Billion deals that were supposed to improve the energy sector.
While speaking in Bomet county during the launching of the heart facility at Tenwek Hospital. Ruto claimed the indian based group will pump their own money to the project hence improving it without necessary taking a loan. He asked Kenyans to support the project insisting it is something better for the nation.
“Adani is a good group. We are working with them to boost our economy and improve projects. Their presence in the energy sector will help lower energy prices for all citizens.” Said Ruto.
Well, he will have to go back and plan again with his team on how to move forward now that the court has halted the whole process until further notice.
