Video: Kitui Senator Enock Wambua Breathes Fire After Kalonzo Was Humiliated At Sifuna’s Event
NAIROBI, Kenya — Kitui Senator Enock Wambua has expressed strong discontent following a series of events that transpired during the Linda Mwananchi rally held in Nairobi, where Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka reportedly left prematurely after being humiliated.
In a viral video clip circulating across social media platforms, Senator Wambua came out guns blazing, demanding that principal leaders within the United Opposition accord former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka the respect he deserves as a senior political leader.
The political storm erupted after tension flared up during the rally hosted by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna. Kalonzo, who attended the rally alongside several Wiper allies, reportedly faced hostility and standard political protocol breaches from organizers, prompting his early departure from the venue.
Reacting sharply to the incident, Wambua emphasized that the Wiper Democratic Movement had officially endorsed Kalonzo as its sole presidential flagbearer. He noted that it was unacceptable for opposition partners to mistreat or attempt to undermine Kalonzo’s status under the guise of joint political activities.

“We will not stand by and watch our party leader subjected to disrespect or public embarrassment by individuals who should be working toward opposition unity,” Wambua declared in the video message.
“Kalonzo Musyoka brings immense political weight, experience, and millions of votes to the table. He must be accorded his due respect by all coalition partners.”
The incident highlights growing friction within the opposition coalition as leaders position themselves ahead of upcoming political realignment.
While leaders like Edwin Sifuna continue to push grassroots mobilization campaigns through the Linda Mwananchi platform, Wiper allies insist that Kalonzo’s priority status as the premier presidential candidate must be upheld without compromise.
