Cabinet Secretary for mining and blue economy, Honerable Ali Hasan Joho, has sparked mixed reaction.
This comes after his impromptu visit to Madini House where he discovered unexpected activities there. Flunked by several officials from the ministry. Joho lectured director of Madini House for his laxity in handling licencing of the minerals.
This was after he got suspicious. He found out that some minerals were brought to Madini House without proper verification of the owner and mining sites.
Minerals Without Identification Of It’s Official Original Sites.
He noted that there were few samples of minerals like marbles at the house. However, the officials could not state the sources of the minerals. There was no clear identification of the people involved. They also did not state where exactly within the republic of Kenya it was mined.

He continued by saying that. He will not get tired of running the show in his ministry. Those thinking that they can just run away with impunity should leave before he deals with them.
