# Video: Natembeya’s Office Sealed Off By GSU Team As War Between Him And Ruto Escalates

Tension has reportedly gripped Trans Nzoia County after a heavy police presence
was witnessed at the county headquarters, with Governor George Natembeya’s offices
reportedly sealed off, leaving government employees stranded.

A video circulating on social media shows a significant security presence at the
premises, raising questions among Kenyans about the circumstances surrounding the
incident and its possible connection to the growing political differences between
Natembeya and President William Ruto.

According to the information accompanying the video, officers from the General Service
Unit (GSU) were deployed to the governor’s offices, with access reportedly restricted.
Employees and other individuals seeking to enter or leave the premises were said
to have encountered difficulties.

The incident has sparked fresh debate online, with Kenyans seeking clarification
about why security officers were deployed and whether the move was linked to the
ongoing political disagreements between the two leaders.

Natembeya has recently found himself at the centre of an increasingly heated political
confrontation with President Ruto, particularly over issues surrounding development
projects and political influence in Trans Nzoia County.

The governor has publicly questioned aspects of the national government’s plans
for the region, while his differences with leaders allied to the President have
continued to attract public attention.

The reported sealing of the offices has therefore added another dimension to the
unfolding political drama, with residents and observers awaiting an official explanation.

However, the circumstances behind the reported security operation remain unclear,
and it has not been independently established whether the deployment was directly
connected to the political dispute.

The incident also raises questions about the continuity of county government operations
if access to the governor’s offices remains restricted.

Neither the precise reason for the reported restrictions nor the duration of the
operation has been established from the information accompanying the circulating
video.

Kenyans are now waiting to hear from the relevant authorities and the county leadership
as the situation develops.

The latest incident comes amid heightened political tensions, leaving many wondering
whether the confrontation between Natembeya and Ruto will ease or escalate further
in the coming days.
