Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sent political shockwaves across the
capital following a bold declaration regarding who will control Nairobi County politics
in the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during a local news television interview, Gachagua asserted that the political
trajectory of Nairobi will be determined strictly by three key figures: himself,
Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.

> “Nairobi city is gone… a possible political alliance involving Wiper leader Kalonzo
