within the Wiper Democratic Movement have issued a stern warning across the national
landscape.

They contend that no coalition can secure top-tier seats—ranging from the presidency
to key county posts in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kitui, and Makueni—
without incorporating party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

Referring directly to Kalonzo as the political “Buffalo Soldier,” regional strategists
emphasize that his massive backing across the Eastern belt and urban strongholds
remains indispensable for any candidate targeting the presidency or major metropolitan
governorships.

According to the faction, attempts to isolate or bypass the veteran leader in ongoing
coalition negotiations will severely compromise the opposition’s numerical math 
in competitive regions. 

The bold declaration signals a complete departure from soft-spoken diplomatic overtures.

Wiper strategists assert that the period of political compromise and deferral has
officially concluded, framing the upcoming election cycle as Kalonzo’s designated
time to anchor national governance.

Adopting an unyielding stance, supporters maintain that the party will not back 
down or compromise its principal’s leadership position under any circumstances.

This aggressive posture underscores growing tension within opposition negotiations
as regional blocks compete to secure top slots on the presidential ticket.

By locking in their demand for non-negotiable leadership, Kalonzo’s camp aims to
force coalition partners to recognize his decisive sway over urban and regional 
electorates.

As various political factions test their bargaining leverage ahead of 2027, the
