President William Ruto has come under attack from a section of Kenyans online after what was posted on the official statehouse account. Yesterday, the head of state was in Turkana county for a cultural event which is celebrated annually.
While there he engaged residents from different regions promising them how his administration is going to fulfill all promises made. Well, it was his departure video that angered Kenyans.
In the video of President William Ruto, he is seen boarding a presidential jet at the airport. However, the background of the song in the video is what has angered a section of Kenyans online.

In the video which was posted on the official state House TikTok account, the lyrics of renown Singer Nyashiski are heard underground. They are saying, despite feeding so many people, they are ungrateful humans who don’t show appreciation.
Kenyans have interpreted it as a mockery from the head of the State communication team who are not considerate of the current political wave. Those handling the page have been asked to pulldown that video and focus on unity instead of creating divisions.
It is not clear if President William Ruto is a were of the video and the person who posted it has not yet issued a statement or apology to the people of Kenya.
