A major political storm has erupted following explosive allegations made by Kajiado
North Member of Parliament Onesmus Ngogoyo, who claims the Orange Democratic Movement
has been auctioned off by high-ranking party officials.

The outspoken lawmaker directed his sharpest accusations at National Assembly Minority
Leader Junet Mohamed and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, accusing the pair of engineering
a quiet takeover and commercialization of the iconic opposition movement.

According to MP Ngogoyo, key figures within the party leadership engaged in backroom
negotiations that compromised the political independence of the movement.

He asserted that the party was systematically handed over to external political 
interests, stripping it of its historic standing as a formidable voice for the masses.

The lawmaker alleged that the transition of power and subsequent structural changes
were executed prematurely and without proper consensus, creating intense friction
among loyal party members.

Adding a controversial dimension to his remarks, Ngogoyo claimed that internal leadership
realignments and negotiations were already being finalized while former Prime Minister
Raila Odinga’s body was still in India following his passing.
