President William Ruto is in Kwale county for Mashujaa day celebration. This day is unique for Kenya since he literally does not have a Deputy President.
According to the previous celebrations, the deputy President is supposed to welcome the president to speak in such events.
However, due to the dramatic impeachment of Gachagua, it has made it difficult for the program to run smoothly.

The courts have blocked Kindiki from assuming the office is adding more complications. Well, Kenyans have been told who will welcome Ruto to speak.
According to close sources familiar with the program. Mudavadi will be the one welcoming the head of State to speak. This is a new normal that has not been witnessed before.
The courts of Kenya will have a huge task next week on rulling who will be Kenyan deputy President going forward. Kenyans are waiting to see what will happen going forward since currently Gachagua is the defacto second in command despite removal from office.
