Kenya has now over seven people who have shown interest in running for the top seat. It seems like the top seat is so lucrative that everyone is going for it. Or should we say, they have seen a gap in leadership that they want to fill? Time will tell.
A few days ago, Busia senator Okiya Omutata announced his advisory team targeting the 2027 presidential election. Activist Morara Kebaso is also in the race according to him, he is now letting bad leadership continue in Kenya.
Kalonzo Musyoka and Wajakoya have also shown interest and will be going against President William Ruto. Well, Natembeya has also joined the team.
Speaking in Kitale, Natembeya has claimed that when he is done with Tranzoia, he will be going for the top seat in the country.
He has dismissed any chance of him being Deputy President. According to him, the second in command position is not open and does not allow many things to be done.
” When I’m done with Tranzoia. I will be going for the Presidential seat. I know I can deliver and I will be ready by that time. Kenyans are demanding for change and we must give them that as leaders. We cannot sit and watch as things fall apart and wait for directions from other people who have not been able to change anything despite being in government for long.” Said Natembeya.
